It is not too late at all. He can go to the info session during summer

orientation, and speak with some of the current cadets, and the commandant's staff.
He can also go ahead now and reach out to Gary Jackson in the registrar's office.

Also, if he plays an instrument... the regimental band is a great organization to be a part of. I'm currently on the board of the band alumni organization, so I have some background there.
